The rhythmic lapping of the waves upon the sand dunes were music to the stallions' auds, making the world seem peaceful for a change. This land was nothing like what he was used to, everything was so desolate, as if he were the only horse around. There was the occasional cry from the sea-birds up above, but to his surprise they didn't set him off on a rampage like he would have expected. It seemed to add to the serenity. He looked about for any other sign of life, but his orbs were only met with miles of beach, the gulls and the dune grasses. Allowing a small smirk to slip into place, he tossed his head and sprung into a canter down a straight-a-way stretch. His long limbs moved effortlessly in sync with one another, keeping his movements even and collected. Elongating his stride, Gallese kicked up his back feet up into a buck, and splashed into the surf. After splashing around for a few moments he slowed to a trot, and then to a walk. Gallese lowered his muzzle to the waves and snorted into the water, causing droplets of spray to shoot back up. He threw his cranium up and let loose a trumpeting whinny, lifting up onto his hind pillars and pawing at the sky, scaring birds away. [/center]

Moon trotted along the beach, enjoying the stillness and solitude. She danced with the waves, rearing playfully as the waves splashed at her hooves. She swam for a little while, her body rejoicing in the weightlessness and freedom. She soon returned to shore, shaking herself slightly to dry off. She rolled in the sand happily, coating herself in sand, and making her look a completely different color. Her ears pricked at a whinny from downshore, and she whinnied back beautifully, trotting delicately down the shoreline. Her mane and tail blew gently in the breeze, and she stopped, enjoying the feel of the wind on her face. A gull swooped down, and she danced with it, playfully kicking out at a canter. She reared and playfully snapped at it, then cantered in circles, chasing it. She spotted a small patch of grass on the shore and trotted up to it, pulling a few mouthfuls off and chewing them thoughtfully. Her blue roan coat was drying quickly, causing the sand to fall off in patches. She looked rather ridiculous, but she didn't care. She pawed the sand, enjoying the feel of it under her hooves. She galloped for the fun of it, coming to sliding stops and making sharp turns. She remembered the whinny and trotted towards it. An almost white stallion slowly came into view, and she slowed to a walk, wondering if he would notice her. She whickered softly to him, hoping he would notice now. She pawed the sand, tossing her mane.
