You might call it unfair, and it is.
Some equines were blessed to have strange powers, that they could use for good or evil. Some used them for only good deeds, and others not so much.
It was all started by an idiotic god that was to blind to see what lay ahead for the future of his world.
There was a beautiful mare named Aeris. Her coat was the color of a bright copper, shining bright and new in the afternoon sun. Her eyes were a liquid gold, that could make any stag go paralyzed.
Over the years that she had been alive, she had used her beauty to cheat stags, loving them with a sweet embrace, then letting them fall into a dark chasm of emptiness, leaving them to think that they had hurt her some how.
Now, one of the gods saw how pretty the young mare was, and he fell for her the moment his blind eyes lay on Aeris's shining coat.
Knowing that he was a god, Aeris quickly collected the stag in her deceiving plan. On a dark night, she poisoned him with a strong alcohol, and in his drunkenness, he raped her, but again, this was all apart of her plan.
She quickly let go of the god, and swept away, her pregnant belly carrying the powerful stag's child.
On a moonless night, she gave birth to a strong colt, Malum, and automatically she knew he had powers unlike any other mortal.
As he grew up, he became hungry for power, and on a psychotic rampage, he murdered his mother in cold blood. But again, this was her plan.
The young, evil stag used his powers to murder and capture normal mortals. He force-bred mares to have his foals. He trained the foals that too, had powers, like his, for his army, but the normal ones were all killed before they reached a week old.
Malum terrified the normals into slave labor, where his army harshly beat them. Malum carried this out until his last breathe. But the terrible rule didn't end there, as many slaves thought. The powered equines kept using the poor normals as punching bags, beating, starving, and killing them off.
They wanted to rid the world of, what they thought was gross, normals.
Many have died. Many are fighting, secretly planning a revolution.
The pieces are set.
Which side will you choose?
